Legislative Advocacy

From 1981 through 1987 was actively involved in lobbying on behalf of injured victims as Legislative Chairman and then President of the 1300 member Indiana Trial Lawyers Association.  This involved writing and amending legislation, Legislature member direct political contact, herding legislation through the Indiana House and Indiana Senate, and position advocacy with legislators, other officeholders, and trade groups.  Fundraising.  Strategic distribution of PAC funds.
